You will play an important role to the team by contributing your Legal Secretary skill and magic to the overall success of the firm!
TWO DAYS WILL NEVER BE THE SAME:
- Document Preparation: Draft and edit legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings related to commercial litigation cases.
- Calendar Management: Maintain and organize attorney calendars, including scheduling court dates, hearings, and appointments. Arrange and coordinate meetings, depositions, and conferences.
- Client Communication: Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional and efficient manner.
- File Management & Billing Assistance: Organize and maintain legal documents, both in physical and electronic formats, ensuring easy retrieval and accessibility, Assist with the preparation of client invoices and maintain accurate billing records.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Legal Secretary
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, legal software.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Initiative & Adaptability: Ability to take initiative and work independently, as well as part of a team, flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- MUST have full working rights in Australia and at least 2-3 years legal experience!
