Paraplanner/Client Services Officer

Position Overview:

As a paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team of financial advisers in delivering high-quality financial planning services to our clients. You will be responsible for assisting in the creation and implementation of financial plans, conducting research and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of client documentation. Career progression would be available if you wish to pursue the role of a financial adviser.

As a Client Services Officer, you will drive the financial advice process and serve as a first point of contact for our clients. You will be responsible for booking ongoing service reviews, commencing and delegating tasks for a small but efficient team, and managing the overall practices workflow. You will be extensively involved in the implementation and documentation of financial plans.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Paraplanner or Client Services Officer, you will support our financial advisers in every step of the advice process. Some of your key responsibilities are as follows:

• Assist the advisers in preparing review and meeting documents
• Use financial planning software to generate strategy and product research
• Use financial planning software to generate advice documents
• Assist the clients with general queries
• Ensure that client files are compliant in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Assist advisers in implementing financial plans

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience at a Financial Advice or Accounting Firm is highly desirable
• A Bachelors degree or Diploma in Financial Planning is highly desirable
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
