We have an opportunity available in our Gold Coast office for a part-time Accountant to join our team. We are seeking a candidate with the ability to multitask and a high level of attention to detail, good attitude and the willingness to get in and get the job done. A high regard for safety is essential.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Degree qualified
- Minimum 2 years experience
- Excellent computer skills
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Ability to work independently and manage own work schedule
- Ability to analyse and solve problems
- Have full Australian work rights
Primary Duties:
- Reviewing and posting GL transactions through multiple ledgers
- Preparing accruals, prepayments and general journal entries
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with analysis of P&L and monthly reporting
- Assist with maintaining the Fixed Asset register
- Assist with maintaining Inventory Ledger
- Develop new reports to assist and improve monthly reporting
