WA Vehicle Transport Pty Ltd is an established Australian Family owned and operating business that delivers vehicle transport and plant/equipment services across the Perth Metro Area and regional WA. Our extensive experience continues to build our leading reputation in the transport industry.
As this is a newly created position we are flexible for the selected candidate on the hours per day however you must be able to work a minimum of 3 days per week. Hours and pay rate will be discussed at interview
Based in Maddington and reporting to the Accounts and Administration Manager, we are looking for an experienced Accounts/Admin Officer on a Part-Time basis to provide support to our Vehicle Transport Division, and who can demonstrate the following attributes;
- 3+ years proven work experience in a similar position
- High computer literacy skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Must Have Previous experience using MYOB AccountRight
- Maintaining a high level of efficiency in a busy and demanding environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills along with analytical skillset
- Self-motivated with a flexible can-do attitude
- High attention to detail
- Ability to manage and prioritise competing tasks
- Reliable and efficient
- Reporting to the Administration Manager and providing support to the Transport & Workshop Managers
Duties will include but not limited to;
- Processing small Weekly Payroll
- Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Bank reconciliation
- Some Debt Collection
- Quarterly Superannuation payments
- Invoicing of Vehicle Servicing
- Setting up new Customers/Clients when required
- Answering the phone and responding to email enquiries
- General Administrative Tasks
