The Role
There is an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper to join our growing team. You will be working closely with and reporting to the Bookkeeping Team Leader. This is a part-time position, working 2 days per week (or the equivalent hours over three days) with the potential for the weekly hours to increase for the right candidate. This role will primarily be working from home, with an immediate start date.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following Bookkeeping tasks:
- Weekly reconciliation and review of bookkeeping requirements for various clients
- General bookkeeping duties, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, debt collection, bank reconciliations using Xero
- General administrative duties as required.
What you will need to succeed
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper in a similar organisation
- Relevant bookkeeping qualifications
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping and general administrative principles
- Xero experience essential
- Dext experience preferred
- A solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail
- Flexible, proactive, and a confident self-starter
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
