Part-time Sales Executive - Geelong

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Part-time Sales Executive to join our team at our Geelong store. The ideal candidate will be someone who is a team player, is personable, has a can do attitude and enjoys engaging with customers. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and driving sales in our retail store. This is a part-time role working @25 hours per week with immediate commencement available.

The role

• Greet customers upon entry, assess their needs, and provide assistance throughout their shopping experience.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the products available in the store to answer customer inquiries accurately.
• Demonstrate product features, benefits, and usage to potential customers.
• Utilise effective selling techniques to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, ensuring merchandise is properly displayed.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store objectives by sharing ideas for improvement or promotional opportunities.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor offerings.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or customer service roles is preferred but not required
• High school diploma or equivalent education level is required; additional certifications related to sales or retail would be advantageous.
• Must have availability for flexible working hours including evenings, weekends and possibly public holidays
• Proficiency in using POS systems for processing transactions is desired.
