Form of work Position : Transport Coordinator and Administration (Approx. 25 hours per week)
We are currently seeking a skilled and adaptable Transport Coordinator and Administration professional to join our clients team. This role offers flexibility, competitive remuneration, and the opportunity to work with a dynamic transport company.
Key Responsibilities :
Client Relationship Building : Establish strong relationships with commercial customers and private sector stakeholders, understanding their business requirements and expectations.
Efficient Communication : Manage emails and phone calls promptly and professionally.
Booking Management : Accurately enter bookings into the computer system.
Subcontractor Support : Liaise with and provide support to subcontractors.
Job Allocation Coordination : Assist in coordinating job allocations for subcontractors and fleet control.
Administrative Tasks : Handle data entry and other administrative duties.
Forklift Assistance : Be willing to assist with forklift work when required.
Skills and Experience :
Transport Industry Knowledge : While advantageous, it is not necessary.
Calm Under Pressure : Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Forklift License : Beneficial, but a willingness to obtain one is acceptable.
Computer Proficiency : Proficient in using computer systems.
Friendly and Helpful : Maintain a pleasant demeanor for phone interactions.
