New position designed to help build experience and knowledge for those looking to change or start their career into an operational role. Based in our Wingfield depot, you will be responsible for assisting the allocations team with general administrative duties while continually expanding on your skills and knowledge with the goal to be able to progress within the company and complete the responsibilities below;
- Liaising with and providing high quality customer service to TRG customers and staff.
- Forecasting transport requirements
- Booking and maintaining time slots
- Pre-planning and organisation of wharf and container park bookings
- Proactively check and maintain cut offs and deadlines
- Assisting, when required, with the scheduling / allocating of drivers and subcontractors to ensure productivity and operating efficiencies.
- Drive performance of processes through effective and efficient planning.
- Ensuring job details are conveyed to drivers precisely and efficiently.
- Ensuring that all jobs are recorded, and general data entry is processed correctly.
- Work with the supervisors in order to sustain and drive efficiencies and cohesion between all areas.
- Preparation of delivery documentation.
- Complete compliance and operational checks.
- General administration duties.
