Transport Coordinator

We are currently seeking a Transport Coordinator to join our dynamic Transport Operations team on a full-time basis at our Wingfield depot, reporting through to our Branch Operations Manager. Working as part of a team of coordinators, you will be responsible for coordinating the distribution of freight in a safe, cost effective and efficient manner, ensuring that delivery times and customer requirements are met.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Schedule, coordinate and monitor movement of the Linehaul fleet both outbound and inbound
• Comply with the Linehaul delivery Schedule (DOT) to maintain departure times
• Provide cost analysis on run specific variables ensuring that planning allows for optimal resource utilisation
• Create and develop relationships with key customers, suppliers, employees, and subcontractors to ensure excellent service delivery and problem-solving ability
• Embody our ThinkSafe ActSafe culture by adhering to Fatigue Management
• Timely processing of all paperwork and corresponding transport documents for invoicing
• Help identify and be a part of operational process improvements and initiatives
