Based at our Dandenong depot this exciting role is Part Time - 3 days per week (Job Share) Monday, Thursday and Friday.
Our Parts Interpreter sources, orders and distributes parts to help ensure Workshop Operations can prepare, maintain and operate our Fleet for customers.
Main responsibilities
• Assist workshop staff in preparing, maintain and operate Fleet in accordance
with the Bus Safety Act 2009 through efficient sourcing, ordering and
distribution of parts.
• Maintain store housekeeping to Audit expected level.
• Source parts and raise purchase orders for stock and special purchases as
requested from approved suppliers.
• Achieve set KPI’s for stock control and accuracy.
• Conduct Re-order of stock in accordance with procedures.
Conduct and arrange dispatch and delivery of product as required to ensure
that delivery has met customer requirements.
• Maintain a high level of customer service.
• Prepare quotes and tenders including all associated documentation as
required.
• Participate in stock takes & Cycle counts.
What are we looking for?
- Great computer skills including MS Excel and Word.
- Experience in general administration
- Minimum year 12 completion.
- Previous Parts Stock control experience (preferred)
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Current drivers licence
- Forklift licence preferred but not essential.
