Sidewood's Restaurant, located in the picturesque Adelaide Hills in Hahndorf, is excited to announce an opening for a talented Pastry Chef to join our esteemed culinary team, led by Executive Chef Jamie Carter. Our restaurant is renowned for its exceptional dining experience, underscored by our commitment to innovative and delightful dishes, as seen on our Instagram and in our restaurant menu.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creation and execution of innovative pastry and dessert menus.
- Ensuring high-quality standards in taste and presentation of all pastry dishes.
- Collaboration with the culinary team to complement our menu offerings.
- Management of ingredients inventory and ordering for the pastry department.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
- Trade qualifications in pastry or culinary arts (desired but not essential based on years of experience).
- Profound knowledge and experience in sourdough and artisanal bread making.
- A creative mind with a passion for pastry arts and a desire to innovate.
- Ability to work efficiently under the guidance of Executive Chef Jamie Carter and integrate with his talented team.
