Position: Full-Time Pastry Chef
Location: Brisbane, Australia
Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 per annum (based on experience)
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of employment in pastry making.
- Formal qualification in pastry making is essential.
- Proficiency in French pastry making techniques is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity.
- Excellent time management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a variety of high-quality pastries, including croissants, éclairs, tarts, and cakes.
- Follow recipes and techniques to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry kitchen.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new pastry offerings.
- Monitor inventory and place orders for pastry ingredients as needed.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
