We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll & Accounts Payable Officer to join our team. 
  
Your Role 
As our Payroll & Accounts Payable Officer, you will be at the heart of our finance department, ensuring the seamless and accurate management of Accounts Payable and payroll functions. Your responsibilities include: 
  
Accounts Payable 

• Processing invoices and ensuring timely payments 
• Managing the AP inbox and resolving queries professionally and efficiently. 
• Completing payment runs and maintaining vendor accounts. 
• Providing ad hoc support for the smooth operation of the Accounts Payable team. 
• Reconciling AP transactions daily and maintaining the prepaid card system. 

Payroll 

• Processing payroll while adhering to ATO requirements. 
• Handling payroll tax, PAYG submissions, and superannuation remittances. 
• Managing workers' compensation reimbursements and claims. 

Key Competencies 

• 2+ years of experience in accounts, payroll, or Accounts Payable. 
• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or Business. 
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. 
• Knowledge of ATO payroll requirements. 
• Experience with accounting and payroll software is advantageous.
