The Role
We are currently seeking to recruit a Payroll Administrator to primarily process the end to end payroll for 400+ staff across multiple sites on a fortnightly basis, including salary and commissions etc.
This is a full time position Monday to Friday.
Main duties will include but not be limited to:
Payroll:
- Ensuring electronic time sheets are locked for each location / department before downloading CSV files. Follow up and assist mangers where there are timesheet exceptions
- Upload CSV file timesheets from time and attendance into payroll system
- Process termination pays
- Maintain accurate leave accruals
- Maintain electronic filling system
- Assist employees with payroll issues and enquiries
- Maintaining up to date information of employees as well as creating new electronic employee payroll files and setting up new hires in our onboarding platform
- General administration and reporting
- Monthly Child support payments
- Monthly Super payments via clearing house
- Liaising with payroll software provider as required
- Work closely with the Human Resources Manager in relation to new starters and changes to employment.
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum 2 years experience in payroll
- Unipay experience would be preferred
- Strong attention to detail and analytically minded, problem solver.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Great time management skills
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
