The Role

We are currently seeking to recruit a Payroll Administrator to primarily process the end to end payroll for 400+ staff across multiple sites on a fortnightly basis, including salary and commissions etc.

This is a full time position Monday to Friday.

Main duties will include but not be limited to:

Payroll:

  • Ensuring electronic time sheets are locked for each location / department before downloading CSV files.  Follow up and assist mangers where there are timesheet exceptions
  • Upload CSV file timesheets from time and attendance into payroll system
  • Process termination pays
  • Maintain accurate leave accruals
  • Maintain electronic filling system
  • Assist employees with payroll issues and enquiries
  • Maintaining up to date information of employees as well as creating new electronic employee payroll files and setting up new hires in our onboarding platform
  • General administration and reporting
  • Monthly Child support payments
  • Monthly Super payments via clearing house
  • Liaising with payroll software provider as required
  • Work closely with the Human Resources Manager in relation to new starters and changes to employment.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in payroll
  • Unipay experience would be preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and analytically minded, problem solver.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Great time management skills
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
