About the Job
We have an exciting opportunity in our Human Resources Department for a Payroll and HR Administrator to work with and support the Human Resources team based in Craigieburn, Melbourne, Australia.
Reporting to the Human Resources Director, you will be responsible for end to end processing of the Weekly and monthly Payroll and month end process. In addition providing assistance and high-level administrative support to the Human Resources Department for all Saint-Gobain Companies within the Pacific region.
The key activities of this role include but are not limited to, coordinating all forms of employee correspondence through the employment lifecycle, such as the preparation of all recruitment documentation and the administration of the payroll function.
The role will also provide administrative support to the HRM, HRD and Payroll department. Tasks include updating forms, policies and procedures, monthly reporting requirements and assisting with end-to-end recruitment. Coordinating interviews with candidates, reference checking, and maintaining all employee documentation and personnel files are also crucial to this role.
About You
You will possess 2-3 years of previous Payroll and or HR Administration experience. You will be confident and competent working with various Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any knowledge of SAP Payroll and Human Resources Information Systems will be highly regarded.
To be successful in this position, you will be able to demonstrate strong administrative skills, attention to detail, accurate data entry and excellent time management with the ability to multi-skill. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential to the position, as you will be liaising with internal staff and external stakeholders.
