About the Role:
Due to exciting internal projects and organisation growth, an opportunity has become available for a Payroll Advisor to join our People & Culture team on full-time, permanent basis.
Based at our Brisbane Corporate Office, and as part of the wider People and Culture team, the Payroll Advisor will assist in accurately and efficiently processing the company payroll ensuring compliance with legislative and statutory changes, as well as being involved in exciting project work and providing valued support to People Leaders.
Reporting to the Payroll Lead, you will;

Reporting to the Payroll Lead, you will;
- Process an end-to-end fortnightly pay run.
- Prepare and analyse reports.
- Maintain accurate and up to date records.
- Respond to, support and resolve payroll queries.
- Support the Payroll Lead and People and Culture team when required.
- Support the implementation of the new Payroll/HRIS system
We are looking for a dynamic individual who is eager to contribute to a high-performing and supportive team, while having some fun along the way! You will have a can-do attitude and meet the following criteria:
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar role (Aviation and/or Healthcare experience is highly desired)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrated high level verbal & written communication skills
- Experience using a data driven HRIS with report writing functionality
- High attention to detail
- Previous exposure to multiple Industrial Agreements
