We are looking for a Payroll and Accounts Officer to join the team at Encara!
The OpportunityWe are looking for an experienced Payroll and Accounts Officer to join our team in Kelvin Grove, QLD. Encara (encompassing care) specialises in the provision of allied health services to the community and aged care sectors. We are an established and respected organisation led and owned by our two Directors, Brad and Pete, and have serviced the aged and community care sector since 2004.
Role and Responsibilities
As a valued member of the Payroll and Accounts Team, you will be contributing to all accounts and payroll functions.
Payroll
- Sharing the responsibility of the Payroll and Accounts inboxes;
- Liaise with the roster and administration teams to confirm invoicing and payroll queries relating to timesheets and billable hours;
- Liaise with Directors/General Manager around potential adjustments to sub-contractor payments if required post assessment of timesheets;
- Enter payroll data once confirmed;
- Process ABA files in ANZ;
- File Payment Lodgement Receipts; and
- Maintain all pay information as confidential.
- Liaise with the administration team to gather all required data and evidence to support invoicing;
- Xero – access draft invoices, adjust as required and save;
- Send invoices electronically with supporting evidence attached; and
- Ensure all invoices are sent prior to the beginning of the following pay run.
- Be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written;
- Have a keen eye for detail and improving processes
- Be a team player who is proactive and self-motivated,
- Payroll and Bookkeeping experience preferably in an Allied Health Capacity;
- Have advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft programs;
- Experience using Xero and Employment Hero is highly desirable.
