We at Ken's represent a large organisation with 7 branches commencing with our Bundaberg branch being established in 1981. We have a long standing history within the Building/Plumbing Industry and we have many tradesman, contractors and general public who we deal with.
Ken's Plumbing Plus is seeking a Full time Administration /Payroll Officer based at our Head office in Bundaberg.
The successful candidate will work as part of our close-knit office team, so the ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a busy team, including providing relief for other administration positions (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable etc) is essential.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:-
- Previous payroll experience is essential
- First point of contact for payroll queries
- Completing the weekly wages payroll (approx. 60 employees) on time, accurately & efficiently
- Completing associated payroll tasks - eg taxation, superannuation, child support, garnishees etc
- Processing of workers compensation payments and administration
- Review and reconcile payroll reports, resolving any discrepancies or issues promptly
- Role requires strong computer skills and a high level of accuracy
- Other administration duties as directed by management
