You will be collaborating with and working closely along side a well established implementation and operation team, working with a multitude of clients and industries, and pick up more technical payroll skills alone the way - there are genuine opportunity to pursue Consultancy roles down the line as they continue to expand at an explosive rate! - Validate all weekly, fortnightly, monthly time sheets against the established protocols
- Calculate and process Termination and Redundancy payments as required, by the due date
- Maintain effective communication with all employees/contractors, using the most appropriate medium, to ensure they are kept fully informed of their status, e.g. regular payslips, superannuation, sick leave, long service leave, Employee Separation Certificate
- Ensure all Payroll-related monthly reports are completed and submitted by the agreed date
- Ensure all monthly and yearly reconciliations are completed and submitted by the agreed date
- Ensure all Payroll-related Reports including end-of-year processing and reconciliation are completed and submitted (where applicable) by the agreed date
- Employee Record and where circumstances change in the Employee/Contractor situation such change/s are immediately entered in the individual’s Record before filing
- Ensure payroll system is set up accurately and up-to-date with latest pay rates
- Ensure an accurate and current record is kept of individual sick leave, annual leave and other entitlements including all remittances on behalf of the Employee
- Prepare and remit all Statutory Reports and other Statutory obligations such as Federal and State Government Taxes, Superannuation payments by the due dates
- Min 3 years end to end Australian payroll processing experience
- Preceda - ESSENTIAL
- Must be a self starter
- Excellent communication skills
- Fabulous can do attitude!
