We are now seeking a highly motivated Payroll & HR Administration Assistant to join our team on a full time basis with an immediate start. Working hours are 8:00AM - 5:00PM at our head office in Yeppoon QLD.
Reporting to the HR & Payroll Manager you will play an important part in the Company by providing administrative duties for human resources and assisting with all payroll related functions for the Company.
About You
You'll have attention to detail and accuracy, with a genuine desire to work within and grow a career in HR, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain rapport across all levels.
The main responsibilities of the role will include:
- Assist with all internal and external related enquiries or requests
- Maintain both hard and digital copies of employee's records
- Assist with Recruitment and onboarding/offboarding employees
- Ensuring that new and existing employees are inducted and have completed relevant Company specific training and reporting to the HR Manager on non-compliant employees.
- Assist with processing weekly payroll (150+) employees, including updating employee details
- Respond to internal and external Payroll enquiries or requests and provide assistance
To be successful you must have the following:
- Be well presented, customer service oriented, approachable, and relatable
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- A high level of communication skills, including literacy & Numeracy
- Intermediate level of Microsoft office skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn all aspects of the business
- Contact with site supervisor and Project managers as required.
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Willingness to perform the work of other job tasks or positions outside of or in addition to the primarily assigned position.
- Flexible and cooperative team attitude
- Experience with MYOB (desirable)
