Our client is a growing project-based construction business based in their Head Office at Wacol. Part of a large global business that is Headquartered in Europe.They are now looking for a Payroll Officer to join their team on a contract basis ( 4 months, potential extension to 6 months) This is an immediate start opportunity.
The Role:
Reporting to the finance Manager this role will be responsible for end-to-end processing of payroll for between 350-400 employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments while adhering to an enterprise agreement.
Your Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Process weekly payroll using manual timesheets.
- Calculate and apply tax and superannuation contributions.
- Maintain accurate payroll record and reports.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislative requirements.
Ideally you will have:
- Strong understanding of payroll principles and practices
- Proficiency in payroll software
- Ability to work independently.
