Payroll Officer
Romeo’s Retail Group is looking for a highly organised and self-motivated Payroll Officer to join our team. This is a full-time position based at our amazing office located on the picturesque O’Connell Street in North Adelaide.

In this role, your core responsibilities will focus on:
- End to end payroll processing on a weekly basis, including the review of time and attendance files.
- Completing new starter and employee terminations.
- Award interpretation and applying relevant internal policies and procedures.
- Assisting with month-end processes such as the preparation and reconciliation of superannuation, payroll tax and PAYG obligations.
- Assisting with year-end processes such as annual payroll tax and payment summary reconciliations.
- Responding to payroll related queries, in a timely and professional manner
- Maintenance of employee files.
Our ideal candidate will be able to:
- Demonstrated high volume, multi-site payroll processing experience - Visipay is desired but not essential.
- Medium to advance knowledge of Excel, including the ability to work with multiple spreadsheets.
- Will be an enthusiastic learner, have great communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- As you will be exposed to sensitive information, you will be expected to handle confidential information in a professional and respectful manner.
