About you and this great opportunity
We are in search of a dedicated and dynamic Payroll Specialist to become part of our client's team. The role entails contributing to our client's ongoing enhancement initiatives and reporting directly to the National Payroll Manager.
What skills and experience will you bring to this role?
As a seasoned payroll expert, you will be passionate about payroll and committed to driving process improvements. Our client currently operates across various systems, with plans to transition all systems to UKG and Payroll Metrics. Essential competencies are listed below:
- Able to run end to end payroll - A MUST!
- Completion of PAYG, Payroll Tax, WorkCover and Superannuation payments
- Process new starters and terminations!
- Maintain leave and leave reports
- Preparation of monthly payroll journals for posting into the General Ledger
- Develop and strive for process improvement to improve efficiencies
- Respond to any employees queries
- Solid understanding of Australian & NZ payroll legislation
- Knowledge of Awards in Healthcare & Fair work legislation
- Exceptional analytical and technical capabilities
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving
- UKG/Kronos experience
- Fabulous sense of humour & fun attitude - A MUST!!!
