Payroll Officer
Part-time 0.6 FTE Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday

We are seeking a Part-time Payroll Officer 0.6 FTE to be working Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Working 44 weeks per year including working term times and one week per school holidays.
The successful applicant will be processing the pays and maintaining staff records for employees for teaching and support staff in a Catholic School environment.
Selection Criteria
- Commitment to the objectives and ethos of Catholic education.
- End-to-end fortnightly payroll processing
- Maintenance of payroll and time and attendance system
- Processing new hires, transfers, and terminations
- Support PAYG, Super, Payroll Tax & Payroll reporting
- Assist with maintenance of payroll systems.
- Liaising with staff and management on payroll related queries
- Management and triage of a group mailbox
- Ability to understand enterprise agreements and Award interpretations.
- Knowledge and skills in payroll processing and accounting.
- Demonstrated effectiveness working within a service delivery environment.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills and attention to detail.
- High-level communicator (both verbal and written) with experience in communicating with Internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute proactively and positively to work as part of a team.
