Payroll Officer

• Permanent part-time
• Three days per week 
• Work location negotiable between Port Fairy and Mortlake

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to assist the senior Payroll Officer in ensuring the accurate and timely payment of staff salaries and wages.

To be successful in this role you will need
Qualifications
Essential

• Employee working with children check
• Current Victorian driver licence

Experience
Essential

• Previous experience in payroll
• Relevant qualification / experience in tax

Key selection criteria 1

Demonstrated ability to use a wide range of computer systems including computerised accounting systems and data entry.

Key selection criteria 2

• Highly developed written and oral communication skills.

Key selection criteria 3

• Proven organisational and time management skills with an ability to meet strict deadlines.
