The Role
People Systems and Payroll Services (PS&PS) Branch is seeking APS 4 Payroll Officers for the Pay and Administration Centre in Raymond Terrace (NSW). As an APS 4 Payroll Officer, you will work collaboratively within a team to ensure efficient, effective & accurate pay & personnel administration, and deliver customer service excellence by:
- Being customer focused to achieve the best outcomes for our customers;
- Participating in the delivery of training and upskilling of others;
- Completing moderately complex administrative payroll activities within established guidelines and procedures;
- Undertaking data analysis to investigate anomalies and applying corrective action;
- Working within a framework of legislation established work practices;
- Engaging with customers and stakeholders, including providing solutions using a range of ICT platforms;
- Collaborating with customers and stakeholders to exchange information, problem solve and resolve issues;
- Demonstrating a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
- Security Clearance - You will required to start the role on a Baseline Clearance with the ability to obtain a Negative Vetting 1 Clearance.
