Responsibilities
Preparation and payment of Payroll
Manage the set-up of new employee information and changes to employment contracts in accordance with the correct classifications, calculate employee terminations, process travel claims and deductions and oversee the maintenance of employee data systems, including maintenance of Payroll records and files. · Continually update staff profiles in accordance with any changes to staff employment contracts and role movements. · Manage Payroll, time keeping software, leave and other systems, to ensure that all information and records are up to date and maintained in accordance with requirements. · Ensure fortnightly Payroll is processed in an accurate, compliant, and timely manner and manage/ resolve issues relating to Payroll production and payment. · Uploading of bank payments to bank portal and remittance of: o PAYG; o superannuation payments and upload of superannuation information to Super Clearing portal; and o salary packaging and salary sacrificed amounts to external salary packaging provider.
