Findex are currently seeking a Junior Payroll Officer to join our dynamic payroll team. This is an initial 12 month max-term contract with a preference to be based in Melbourne, however flexible for the right person.
What will your typical week look like?
- Processing of end-to-end payroll
- Building strong internal relationships and responding to staff queries via email and phone
- Ensuring all payroll requests from staff are approved with the required supporting documentation
- Assist in running End Of Month payroll reports
- Assist in Superannuation lodgment and Payroll Tax Reconciliation

Lets talk about you!
- 2-3 years of proven Payroll experience, ideally processing payroll for a large organisation
- Experience with payroll practices and relevant legislation, (e.g. PAYG, PAYE, SGC, KIWI Saver, salary packaging, leave and other entitlements)
- Ascender Pay system experience would be advantageous (or equivalent)
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders
- Be a driven self-starter who understands the ‘must have’ steps in order to complete a pay run
