About this Role
Do you love Employment Hero Payroll? Then this may be the perfect role for you! You will be working in a truly great and supportive finance team and will be contributing to the delivery of a comprehensive payroll service for EDMI ANZ. You will work closely with a highly competent Finance and Payroll Lead where you will support end-to-end fortnightly payrolls for the EDMI ANZ group (around 170 employees 80% salaried). If you only know Australian Payroll, that’s ok, we still want to hear from you! Additionally, you will participate in some general administration such as office supply management and occasional catering.
This is a part-time role (ideally 25 hours per week, around 5 hours per day but negotiable on total hours) with start and finish times flexible and up to 20% of the time remote working.
Some of your duties will include:
- Process/support end-to-end fortnightly payrolls for EDMI ANZ Group with our fabulous Payroll Lead using Employment Hero Payroll system. This includes the usual data entry, verification and processing.
- Proactively coordinate the administration of staff and contractor remuneration information in EH (Payroll) ensuring that the inputs to the payroll process are available, on time and accurate, and liaise with the P&C team to reconcile data between systems (via EH HRIS).
- Support managers and staff with Payroll enquiries and ensure that Payroll systems are accurate and up to date
- Respond to internal client inquiries and resolve administrative queries including phone calls
- Perform general office administration and filing duties co-ordinating with Operations team internally.
About the successful candidate
As our successful candidate, you will ideally bring the following:
- 2+ years’ experience in a payroll role.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and action solutions and resolve problems in a complex payroll environment.
- High attention to detail and understanding of payroll related legislation
- Experience with Employment Hero Payroll would be highly advantageous
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of a wide range of administration activities.
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Sound level of Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Enthusiasm to join a high energy finance team that focuses on outcomes in a collaborative and supportive way
