About the role
Operating within a small team and reporting into Finance whilst also working closely with HR, this role will see you processing complex end to end payroll and would be suitable for an individual who is attentive and driven to succeed, as well as:
Duties:
- Perform end to end Payroll using Chris21
- Process Leave Calculations, Long Service, maternity and parental leave.
- Process Super, Payroll Tax and PAYG
- Demonstrate strong payroll system knowledge
- Interpret complex EBA's and Awards
- Undertake Terminations & Redundancies
- Demonstrate strong customer service to the highest level
- Offer effective, clear and support communication to colleagues when necessary
- Adhere to all payroll related queries and manage the payroll query inbox
Skills and Experience
- Experience using Chris21 or Ichris is essential
- Proven experience performing full function payroll
- Strong understanding of EBA's & Awards and hourly employees
- Excellent written, verbal & interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service
- Proven ability to develop effective partnerships to proactively find solutions and efficiencies in processes
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and develop workplans to achieve deadlines
- Ability to work well within a team environment
