The RoleReporting to the Payroll Manager and working as part of team, your duties will include:Responsible for managing payroll queries from department managers.Guide employees and/or managers to adhere to payroll procedures and policies.Identify and suggest efficiency improvement proposals.Processing weekly pay runs; including new starters, terminations, parental Leave, long Service LeaveCalculating and processing offline payments in line with employee agreementsAuditing of processing of payments and master file updates Your ProfileTo be successful, you will be an experienced and competent Payroll Officer who is able to work within a high transactional environment. Excellent communication skills, a customer service approach, and the ability to work to deadlines is also required.You will high attention to detail, the ability to problem solve, and a proven ability to pick up new systems, processes, and procedures.Please note that this is an office-based role. This successful candidate will need to be prepared and able to travel to their offices in the western suburbs 5 days per week.
