Payroll Officer - Immediate Start

Ayan Infotech has an exciting initial 6-month contract opportunity for a Payroll Office in Melbourne, CBD. Our client is a leading global IT consultancy that has billions of dollars of revenue transactions through the year.This will be a hybrid work model. We can offer a highly competitive rate relevant to experience!Responsibilities will include:

• Completing tasks accurately and within agreed timeframes for fortnightly and monthly pay inputs and employee updates
• Providing accurate and timely advice to Capgemini staff in response to
• queries
• Providing support across the payroll team to undertake administrative tasks
• related to full range of day-to-day and cyclical payroll functions
• Ensuring compliance with procedures internal controls current legislation
• and business requirements
• Maintaining a good working relationship with Payroll Service provider
• Ensuring alignment to Capgemini requirements and legislation
• Prioritising effectively to ensure tasks are accurately completed within the
• agreed timeframes
• Supporting the Payroll team to ensure the high level of service delivery is
• maintained.
• Demonstrating initiative providing appropriate advice to managers and staff
• in response to queries and escalating where appropriate.

Experience needed:

• Prior experience in high volume Australian payroll processing
• Demonstrated data processing analytical and organisational skills
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Ability to adapt to rapid change in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Office 365 (Excel Outlook
• Teams)
• Experience working with different Payroll and Employee Self-Serve (ESS)
• systems (desirable)
