Payroll Officer - Part Time

The opportunity
We are seeking a Payroll Officer who possess at least 2 years experience in a similar role (including the use of a intricate time and attendance system), to join us in this journey and contribute positively to the continued success of the Company. As a guide your role will include:

• Administer a fortnightly payroll for a large predominately casual workforce in compliance with the applicable awards and legislation and Company policies
• Upholding our "lean" culture by working with management to identify and action opportunities resulting in operational efficiency and effectiveness
• Resolving general inquiries from team members
• General accounting and administration duties as required.

The ingredients for success
While this list is, in no way, conclusive, we expect you’ll demonstrate the following skills and experience to be able to fly in this role:

• Experienced managing a corporate payroll using a large payroll system
• Strong communication skills, both written & verbal
• Excellent time management and attention to detail
• Juggle multiple projects and priorities, balancing ‘day to day' vs ‘project work'
• Experience with Sage Micropay, humanforce and world manager systems is desirable but not compulsory.
