Payroll Officer - Part-Time

The APG payroll team seeks to appoint 2 new team members 3 days per week based in our Bayswater North location.

The APG payroll team seeks to appoint 2 new team members
3 days per week, Mondays and Tuesdays essential and a Wednesday or Thursday to be a part of an experienced payroll team, to manage the payroll for its temporary and casual staff.

About the role:

• Processing timesheets both manually and electronically.
• Liaise with employees and internal business partners regarding payroll enquiries.
• Some excel spreadsheeting.
• Other payroll related administrative tasks as required.
• In house payroll system (training provided)

About You:

• Proven experience working within a similar role.
• Reasonable working knowledge of compliance and Award interpretation.
• Ability to work with a team and independently with minimal supervision.
• Intermediate MS Excel skills would be a distinct advantage.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Recruitment industry experience is advantageous but not essential.
• The ideal candidate will be a positive individual who displays acute attention to detail, problem solving and organizational skills.
