Payroll Officer (Part-Time Or Full-Time)

The CompanyOur client is a leader in their respective industry. Due to unprecedented growth they are looking to add talent to their stable Payroll team. 

The Role

Reporting to the Payroll Manager you will be responsible for:

• Managing end to end processing of the weekly & fortnightly payroll
• Weekly exception checking and complex payroll processes such as terminations and redundancies
• Time and attendance release management including scenario testing
• Data analysis and report writing as required
• Responding to queries including award interpretation and system advice
• Providing training and support to the payroll team and stores on system processes and procedures
• End of month and end of period processing
• Documenting payroll and system related procedures and checklists

The Person

• Experience in a similar high-volume payroll 
• Experience working with payroll systems and time and attendance systems
• Sound knowledge of payroll-related legislation including superannuation, tax and Fair Work
• High level numeracy and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel
• Experience with documenting payroll procedures
• Experience with payroll reporting tools
