All our modular buildings are designed and built to the very highest standards with a true focus on quality.We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to work at our Mulwala location. The Payroll Officer will report directly to the People & Culture Coordinator.About you;As our Payroll Officer you will be responsible for accurately processing payroll for our employees on a weekly basis. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent numerical skills, and a thorough understanding of payroll processes and regulations. You will also provide administrative support to the People & Culture Coordinator.Qualifications/Experience: Prior experience working as a Payroll Officer or similar role Knowledge of relevant payroll legislation, including taxation laws and superannuation requirements Familiarity with various awards/agreements within the building & construction industry is advantageous Excellent attention to detail Remuneration will be based on Qualifications & Experience Skills: Proficiency in payroll software Employment Hero – Key Pay or similar Excellent Microsoft Excel Strong numerical aptitude with high attention to detail Excellent organizational and time management skills Knowledge of relevant payroll legislation and regulations Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to follow instructions accurately Strong problem solving skills Responsibilities: Process weekly payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Maintain accurate employment records, including updating employee information as necessary Calculate and process deductions, such as taxes and superannuation contributions Stay updated on relevant payroll legislation and regulations to ensure compliance Handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality Collaborate with other departments to resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues Generate reports on payroll data as required by management If you believe you have the drive and motivation to excel in this role then we look forward to hearing from you.
