AddressThe Payroll Officer will support the end-to-end processing of fortnightly payrolls for employees in designated business units in accordance with relevant awards, agreements, taxation and other legislation. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for accuracy, we want to hear from you! A hybrid working arrangement is available with a minimum of 2 days in the office (Osborne Park).
Key Responsibilities include:
You will be the first point of contact for our Employees and Managers, providing great customer service and responding to all payroll enquiries. Your communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills will be required with the following tasks:
- Accurately processing fortnightly payroll portfolio in a timely and efficient manner.
- Processing in accordance with our current enterprise agreements and awards.
- Setting up new starter employees and processing terminations (ensuring compliance with all relevant documentation received).
- Accurately processing back pay calculations.
- Completing end of month process in line with Company policies
- Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or similar role in a high-volume setting.
- End-to-end payroll experience within a large organization.
- Proficiency with payroll systems (e.g., ADP & Kronos).
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret awards and legislation.
- Excellent time-management and confidentiality skills.
- Knowledge of payroll practices, procedures, and legislation.
- Strong integrity, honesty, and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
