About the Role:
As a Payroll Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the workforce is compensated accurately and efficiently. Leveraging your expertise in payroll processing and legislation, you'll provide comprehensive payroll and staff support services to the organisation.
You will:
- Oversee and execute payroll services in compliance with awards, agreements, and legislative requirements.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions, maintaining meticulous employee records and administering entitlements.
- Manage payroll reconciliation, addressing any discrepancies and liaising with external stakeholders as needed.
- Prepare internal and external reports and facilitate audits to uphold compliance standards.
- Address employee queries regarding entitlements and payroll matters, fostering a supportive work environment.
- Analyse performance metrics and recommend enhancements to streamline systems and procedures.
- Collaborate on matters related to remuneration and benefits, including salary reviews and compliance reporting.
About You:
A degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience in payroll.
Proven experience managing payroll in diverse organisational settings.
Thorough understanding of payroll operations, legislation, and employment conditions.
Proficient in payroll systems such as; Microsoft Dynamics or COINS.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills to handle complex data.
Effective communication and negotiation abilities to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
