Perks People Solutions have partnered with a manufacturer in the northern suburbs to recruit a Payroll Consultant. They have a close knit, team-based environment and they are looking for a capable professional who can work collaboratively with both HR and finance to achieve key deliverables.
The Role
Working closely with both HR and finance you’ll be responsible for:
- Processing the end-to-end payroll on a weekly basis, including managing, and calculating all statutory entitlements
- Conducting a full review of existing payroll processes and systems to identify issues, errors and gaps
- Reviewing the current payroll system and making suggestions for improvement
- Researching new payroll systems and add-ons to ensure that technology is fit for purpose and the future of the function
- Collaborating with the team to manage other HR and finance tasks as required by the business
About You
- Strong payroll leader who is happy to work autonomously and has previously worked at manager or specialist level
- Comfortable consulting and providing recommendations to key stakeholders
- Outstanding end to end payroll expertise including an understanding of EBAs, awards and entitlements
- Proactive individual that can collaborate with the broader team and contribute to business objectives
