Balco Australia is seeking a skilled Payroll/HR Systems Specialist to spearhead the implementation of a payroll/HR integrated solution.

Due to strong organisational growth, Balco’s seeking a highly skilled payroll/HR System Specialist to spearhead the implementation of a comprehensive payroll/HR integrated solution. This position is initially a fixed term 8-9 months contract role, with the potential for contract extension or permanent placement.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this contract role is responsible for identifying and establishing a streamlined and effective payroll/HR infrastructure to simplify and improve the efficiency of Balco’s internal processes. The HR Systems Specialist will provide project management services across the full project life cycle, including system identification and evaluation, technology integration, onboarding process enhancement, governance and standards development, employee data management, training and support, and compliance and reporting.
Skills, Knowledge, Experience
The successful candidate must possess tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration or relevant fields, with proven experience in implementing payroll/HR systems in a similar capacity. This role will require the candidate to have in depth knowledge of payroll/HR best practices, policies, and legal requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks and stakeholders. Balco is seeking a candidate that has experience in managing time and attendance systems for shift workers along with knowledge of payroll requirements for a manufacturing, processing, or similar work force. An understanding and ability to interpret Awards is desirable.
