About our School
All Saints Catholic College is the biggest Catholic school in the Sydney Archdiocese, and we are currently recruiting a PDHPE teacher for a temporary role for Terms 3 and 4, 2024. We are an innovative and creative learning community set across two campuses, Liverpool and Casula. About you
As a PDHPE teacher you will be an energetic and innovative educator with a distinct focus on quality education and a commitment to enhancing 21st-century pedagogy.
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate:
- ability to teach PDHPE
- a commitment to academic excellence and sound knowledge of contemporary approaches to pedagogy, including the nature of assessment and differentiated learning
- commitment to a learning culture of shared responsibility for quality teaching and student learning growth, informed by data
- working knowledge and understanding of education appropriate for the stage/s for which this role is responsible
- a comprehensive understanding of NESA requirements
- highly developed interpersonal skills, demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate with parents, students and staff
- the capacity to empower students to be independent and creative learners
- a willingness to be involved in the extra-curricular life of the College
- a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic school within the broader Catholic Church.
You will have attained:
- Tertiary qualification in education
- eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
- an Employee ID registration number with Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) or commitment to Register to Teach in SCS.
