About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking applications from an experienced Peer Support Worker to join the Hospital Outreach Post – suicidal Engagement (HOPE) program as part of the Warrnambool's Adult Mental Health Team and work alongside consumers, families and clinical staff to provide targeted support to consumers
This rewarding role will offer assistance to consumers and their families accessing the HOPE program and also educate staff on how to deliver clear and accessible information to them. The Peer Support Worker will also assist consumers to set goals, share experiences, develop and maintain community and natural support systems whilst upholding the six peer values.

- Salary Range: $67.522.00 - $71.635.20 pro rata, plus superannuation
This position is eligible for an incentive payment for rent, childcare, relocation costs and more, as part of the new workforce and incentive grants program administered by Rural Agency Workforce Victoria (RWAV) up to $10,000.
