Being a site-based role, this is a great opportunity for a contemporary, experienced People and Culture professional who is either based in Leeton or open to a relocation to a beautiful country town within the Riverina.
About the role:
This is a rare opportunity where you will be partnering closely with site leaders to provide a range of people-focused solutions. Some responsibilities are outlined as below:
- The role is responsible for providing sound commercial industrial and employee relations advice and guidance to support the achievement of commercial and operational objectives
- Review and assist with development and implementation of a broad-based IR/ER strategy including negotiations of enterprise agreements
- Provide IR/ER planning and implementation support in business change initiatives
- Deliver a range of HR programs and strategies to lift leadership capability and employee engagement
- Attract and retain top talent into the organisation
- Coach, guide and build the capability of two HR Advisors across the Riverina.
Ideal candidate profile:
We are looking for a strategic and commercially minded People and Culture leaders, who will have a true understanding of complex, industrialised blue and white collar workforces, ideally within in a manufacturing environment. Additionally, you will possess the below skills and experiences:
- Experience working within contemporary HR functions
- Strong ER/IR knowledge, including experience in negotiating enterprise agreements
- Strong stakeholder engagement expertise. Strengths in embedding themselves into industrial environments
- Experienced in delivering a range of People and Culture initiatives and strategies to drive employee engagement and improve leadership capability
- Proven ability to work well within an operational environment.
