AddressOur client, a Toowoomba-based organization that provides mental health, disability, and community care support services, is seeking an outcomes focused, dynamic and progressive People and Culture Manager to lead their HR team. This role can be worked on either a full-time, part-time or flexible working arrangements and can be negotiated on an individual basis.
Applicants for this role should have extensive generalist HR experience including a depth of knowledge in employee relations, recruitment, learning and development, industrial relations and governance. This is a fast-paced role that working with all aspects of the business.
Reporting directly to the CEO and supervising a People and Culture team of five (5) staff members and responsible for a greater team of approximately 180 employees across a number of sites, your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the total function of the Human Resources Department including administration, training and financial management including budget preparation.
- Leading a thorough evaluation of the HR Department, and analysing staff performance, job descriptions, and productivity.
- Supervising performance management processes to ensure alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
- Overseeing and directing talent acquisition processes, including sourcing, testing, interviewing, hiring and onboarding
- Undertaking investigations and resolution of employee issues, concerns and conflicts.
- Maintaining compliance with national, state and local regulations governing employment practices, ensuring adherence across all organisational activities.
