Seeking an experienced People & Culture Manager for a not-for-profit organisation in Townsville.

Based in Townsville, this not-for-profit organisation is seeking a People & Culture Manager to join the team in a permanent full-time capacity.
Your new role
You will be a key member of the senior management team, reporting directly to the CEO. You will be responsible for the management of all human resources functions across the organisation, including:
- Lead continued development of organisational culture and employee engagement strategies.
- Provide leadership in the organisation and take responsibility for fostering and maintaining a positive organisational culture.
- Support and advise the Executive Team on organisational change management, providing advice and support to the wider organisation.
- Be responsible for empowering the CEO and other members of the leadership team in their roles, by providing timely, effective, and reliable guidance and advice on matters relating to employment.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Tertiary qualifications or 5+ years of experience in an HR lead capacity.
- Senior leadership and people management expertise.
- Well-developed analytical and critical thinking with an ability to identify and solve complex problems.
- Demonstrated good understanding of the issues that impact on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in contemporary society.
- Proven ability to understand, interpret and apply relevant legislation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, people skills, business acumen, diplomacy, political nous and exemplary work ethics.
- Strong computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
