Our client is a not-for-profit organisation funded by the Australian Government to commission services to meet local health needs priories. Our client works towards a vision of people in the Norther Territory enjoying their best health and wellbeing.
- Full Time – Contract 18 months
- 38 hours per week
- $99,315 plus Superannuation
About The Role
The People and Culture (P&C) Project Coordinator will play a pivotal role in driving the People and Culture initiatives and projects that contribute to the strategic goals of organisation. This position requires a high level of expertise in the field of People and Culture (HR), the ability to manage complex People and Culture Projects, and the competence to influence P&C-related decisions.
Accountabilities
- Coordinate and manage P&C projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with the People and Culture Lead to develop and implement project plans including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Organise and facilitate project meetings, workshops, and review sessions, and collaborate with project managers, team members, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives.
- Monitor project progress, proactively identify challenges, and evaluate project results against established success criteria, making necessary adjustments to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Support the design, development, delivery, and management of communications related to the People and Culture Projects and initiatives as required.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, reports, and status updates.
- Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to the People and Culture Lead, and other Senior Leaders within the organisation.
- Conduct thorough research to stay updated on best practices and relevant policies in relation to People and Culture.
What you need to have to be Considered for the Role
- Knowledge or training equivalent to a relevant bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field and/or extensive equivalent combination of relevant experience or education/training with demonstrated related experience.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills and the capacity to work under pressure, prioritising and completing critical tasks accurately and within required timeframes.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to contribute to projects to achieve contemporary, fit for purpose, innovative and timely outputs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage HR projects effectively.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing HR policies and strategies.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to manage time effectively and work as a member of a team or as an individual, within an environment subject to change.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex HR issues.
- Demonstrated ability to use initiative and a commitment to continuous quality improvement with the ability to examine information and recommend an appropriate course of action.
Additional Requirements
- The role may require travel within the Northern Territory including to remote communities and interstate.
- A current NT driver's licence
- Police clearance
