The People Business Partner plays a crucial role in delivering the people agenda across multiple brands in the Country Road Group. Reporting to the Head of People – Support Centre, you will partner with brand leaders to enable them to deliver the best people experiences for our Support Centre based team members.
As a member of brand leadership teams, you will coach and guide business leaders and provide practical solutions and advice which empowers them to effectively lead their team. You will also collaborate with the wider people team and build strong relationships across the business to provide solution-oriented outcomes.
Whilst this is a 12 month parental leave cover, the business is undergoing a period of change and the people agenda is a key part of this.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with leaders at multiple levels up to and including Brand GMs to shape people solutions and deliver key people activities
- Lead conversations with the business around performance, talent management, succession planning and team engagement
- Collaborate with other People Partners and People COEs to identify systemic opportunities and come up with solutions. These could range from enhancing processes to delivering more strategic culture change activities.
- Facilitate projects relating to organisational change and continuous improvement of our people experience
- Balance commercial objectives with the needs of our people to create an engaging team experience
- Provide ongoing coaching to leaders on all people related activities from people movements to organisational change and people related matters.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- Experience in HR Business Partnering roles
- Ability to build strong, trusted relationships with business stakeholders at multiple levels
- Experience working with corporate or retail/fashion functions
- A customer and people experience centric approach, and an ability to challenge thinking to ensure this is kept front of mind
- An ability to influence via strong relationships across a wide range of stakeholders
- Familiarity working in a HR COE model to deliver HR strategies
- Exposure to org design and wider project/change management activities
- An openness to support the full range of people activities, from partnering with senior leaders, to supporting the operational aspects of people movements and changes
- Strong communication skills
