Now in the early stages of implementing a new operating model and ways of working, designed to drive a shift in culture, potential to change the focus of the team has been realised, with a move to a more strategic mindset, and an emphasis on change and transformation.The Role
Reporting to a dynamic and fast-paced Chief Operating Officer, the People & Capability Manager will be responsible for the leading the P&C function, the development and execution of the people plan, including employee engagement, organisational capability and performance, and change and transformation, while maintaining a hands-on operational approach to the provision of generalist P&C advice and support, and maintaining oversight on all P&C matters.This role will be instrumental in driving the new operating model to ensure the right structure and capabilities are in place to achieve the new strategy and purpose, and to align with the shift occurring within the organisation.The Ideal Candidate
A confident, well-rounded, and nimble P&C practitioner, you will bring a strong growth mindset together with demonstrated experience in a generalist HR, organisational development, or change and transformation capacity. In addition:
- You will have had exposure to leading a small team, business partnering, developing, implementing and continuously improving policies, processes, systems, and modern ways of working.
- An understanding of relevant workplace legislation is also important.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to see around corners, taking a solutions-focused approach.
- Genuinely passionate about relationships, stakeholder management, communication and influencing change.
- At your core, you will be caring, committed and passionate.
- An understanding of HR systems will be beneficial.
