We are committed to fostering a positive and inclusive work environment for our team members. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced People and Culture Leader to join our team.
The Role: We are looking for a part-time (Monday to Friday – 9 to 3) People & Culture leader who has an eye for detail and is passionate about process and compliance. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to build a rapport with people of all ages and abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the identification of talent, recruitment, and onboarding process for all new staff.
- Prepare and distribute employment documentation.
- Handle sensitive information, including the preparation of employment contracts.
- Provide high-level administrative support, including policy advice.
- Manage employment correspondence and offer operational advice to staff within organisational policies and procedures.
- Utilise the HR platform Employment Hero to maximise the use of tools and automation.
- Management of Quality Assurance and organisational wide compliance.
- Provide effective leadership & direction on Quality Assurance.
- Manage audit and compliance process.
- Offer administrative support and advice regarding employee entitlements and responsibilities.
- Maintain up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Design, deliver, and update training and development programs and activities for all employees in conjunction with the management team.
- Create programs to foster teamwork and a positive work environment for all team members.
- Support the development of team leaders and managers on various topics, including performance management processes, performance reviews, progressive disciplinary processes, and related programs to enhance performance.
- Assist with annual performance review reporting and other project work as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree or Diploma qualification in Human Resources or other relevant fields
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the NDIS sector.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law and audit & Compliance requirements.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using HR platforms, knowledge of Employment Hero desirable but not compulsory.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
