About the role:
An exciting opportunity awaits for a motivated People & Culture Administrator in a dynamic, values-driven environment with various tasks. Collaborating closely with the People & Culture team, you will handle payroll processing, Track allocations, and additional P&C duties, necessitating strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and relationship-building abilities. Job Responsibilities:
- Preparation and processing of weekly pay runs, including superannuation and leave entitlements.
- Respond to general payroll queries
- Processing terminations payments.
- Accept and Allocate hours daily in Track working in collaboration with the Projects team
- Planning, organising and attendance of Community/Employee Engagements
- Assist in development and review of HR Policies & Procedures
- Support P&C head with management of employee performance
- Support P&C team in any other areas as required
To excel in this position, it is essential to;
- Alignment with Mecha values
- Have highly developed interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Understanding and interpreting Modern Awards, ATO, and Superannuation.
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience with Xero Accounting Software highly regarded.
- Knowledge and experience in practical administration duties
- Initiative and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience with end-to-end recruitment and experience (desired)
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum of cert 3 in business administration or payroll
- 2 years Payroll experience within heavy industry
- Experience with WorkflowMax and Track Software
